PS: Can you please write me about why it's not good to drink carbonated drinks-natural or not?

1) Carbonic acid and Sulfuric Acid draw alkalinizing minerals from your bones to balance the acid from the soda. Leads to osteoporosis.

2) Soda acidifies the body. An acidic environment makes a good host for bacteria, viruses, fungi, inflammation (root of most diseases), and cancer. I remember so vividly seeing these effects in the live blood cell testing (dark field microscophy) that my sister Marian did. It’s not just theory¸ because you can clearly see the changes in the blood.

3) Soda upsets the calcium, magnesium, phosphorus levels in your bones. Leads to osteoporosis.

4) Carbonic acid lowers blood oxygen (by 25% for 3 hrs.) We need oxygen for optimal functioning. Remember that laboratory studies show that cancer grows nicely in an oxygen-deprived environment.

5) Caffeine and sugar massively leach minerals from the bones and also cause dehydration. See the book Your Body's Many Cries for Water. The author (Dr. Batmanjahli ) makes the case for dehydration being the basis for many illnesses and much pain. Gee, I’m going to go drink some water.

6) Sugar (1 tsp.) diminishes the effectiveness of your white blood cells by about 60% for over 5 hrs. after ingestion. Imagine what happens with several teaspoons…or sugar throughout the day. Watch out at Christmas time…don’t get set up for colds and flus. (I’ve read that the incidence of sickness in children goes up dramatically after Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine’s Day. Coincidence? Na.)

Does anyone have anything to add…feedback?

Updating

How the months and years fly by!  I didn't know I could still post blogs here, so I'm trying to see it it works.  I continue with my deep enjoyment of doing and teaching QEST and would welcome the opportunity for you to see how QEST might enrich your life.

Equilibrium & Energy

Here's something that "made" my day:  I worked with a new client 5 days ago who had serious problems with equilibrium.  She was falling often.   She'd been a very active person with tremendously good balance but over a year ago had her life abruptly changed by falling.  Every time she stood up, she had to plant her feet in a wide stance and pause for a bit before moving.  She was unable to get off her couch without assistance and was constantly afraid of going down.  A horse trainer...she was now unable to even get on a horse.  She was depressed and discouraged "I can't live like this".

Her first fall had been a face-plant in the parking lot right after going on a fairly vigorous water slide in June 2010.  Re: prior head injuries, she'd had a blow at age 5 and a car accident when she was 10.  She "took a bite out of the dashboard" requiring her "teeth to be wired back in".  Migraine headaches started at  age 19-20 which were helped significantly with chiropractic treatments.  She presented with intermittent pain in her right ear and constant pain on the left, along with some trouble hearing.  She complained of sinus pain under her left eye.

My theory was that the water ride had simply tweeked (new medical terminology!) her neck, affecting the dura mater (around the brain and spinal cord), which could then have affected cranial nerves, including the glossopharyngeal or acoustic nerve, which could affect equilibrium.  This last "tweek" had been like the straw that broke the camel's back.

The cranial work we do at every first QEST visit can profoundly help neurologically.  I followed this fouondational sequence of steps with addressing circulatory problems in her right carotid artery and vertebral artery (which could affect the posterior brain, including the cerebellar area affecting movement and balance).  I worked with the area under her left eye and more.

After one QEST visit, friends asked her "What's happened?" She looked that much better.  Today she told me:  "Depression was poofed off of me.  My over-all temperament has been awesome.  I have less mind fog and have more energy.  There's no more of feeling like I'm going to fall and I've had no tripping.  Now I don't have to hold onto a banister to go down stairs and I can get off the couch without thinking about it.  I can carry heavy things without falling.  I almost saddled up my horse but decided I should wait!"

She feels like the "giver" inside her is back and asked about learning to be a QEST Practitioner.  She was happy to hear that we'll have a new QEI class starting here February 3-5, 2012.  She's already started a list of people she'd like to help.  I'm so blessed to get to do this work.  Can you see why I'm elated?

Help with Learning Problems

Last night I briefly shared with a new client one of my Powerpoint presentations about head injuries from birth trauma, blows to the head, and whiplash.  I also showed her a couple of case studies and results from a Learning Study done last year by my friend and Fort Collins teaching assistant Marina Poling and soon-to-graduate QEI student Kathy Dickson.  After this peek into Quantum Energetics Institute materials, she expressed in learning QEST in the future.  Read on and you'll get a taste of what piqued her interest:

Marina & Kathy's Learning Study:  Two of the children, the oldest in the study at age 12 and 13, had REMARKABLE changes in their abilities to read and do math, for example.  Before, one could barely read and had to rely on being read to and audio recordings to do his schoolwork.  After, he not only could read better but was asking for another book!

Another had trouble with spelling and with math.  After QEST sessions:  "I'm an awesome speller"!  In math before QEST, he had trouble with the beginning of a problem "floating away" so that by the time he got to the end, he couldn't remember what the problem was.  After...he was moved to a more advanced math class.

These wonderful changes will affect the entire course of their lives!  We want to do more such studies.  This work (QEST) is so needed across the country...and we need more QEST Practitioners.  Our next class will begin February 3-5, 2012.  See "About the Institute" at http://www.quantumenergeticshealing.com/

Love What I Do!

I am on a real energetic high today from work with a new client.  I'm so excited because she has such profound problems and while I can't ever make promises, I believe with all my heart that she will get her life back with the form of energy medicine that we do:  Quantum Energetics Structured Therapy or QE as we call it sometimes "for short".

I love that doing QEST is alway interesting!  I find the investigation into possible causes--and prospects for nudging the body to correct them--to be exciting.

What's Special About Quantum Energetics (Structured Therapy)?

??????
As you’ve surely noticed, we are living in a time of a plethora of alternative healing modalities. Some methods work better for certain individuals; others modalities work better for others. We simply know of no healing method that is as powerful as Quantum Energetics Structured Therapy, which has such a broad scope of effectiveness. We cannot say there is none more powerful, but we can say that we have never personally encountered such.

Other methods sound similar, but as you will learn and experience, QEST is unique for these reasons:

• The extremely powerful cranial work "opens" the body to receive more energy for healing/maintenance, without which the following procedures in "the work" would be impotent.

• There is "programming" after each procedure, without which the procedures would not be lasting.

• Generally we work with different things at each visit with one thing built upon the other.

• The language of codes takes the guesswork out of QEST and enables us to do what the body "wants" or needs.

Sometimes people encounter different modality which uses muscle testing and think that that work is the same as QEST. While numerous methods use muscle testing as a tool, that doesn’t mean that other practitioners are doing the same syatem as QEST—any more than we’d say that everyone who uses a screwdriver does the same work.
